If You’re Watching This, You’re Ahead of the Curve [Video]

by Steve Campbell on March 24, 2010

Here comes another one of my favorite videos. I love video, and I decided that if I don’t feel like writing a post every day I’m going to show some cool vids instead. You should like this one.

Last night I watched this epic interview from November on This Week in Startups (TWiST). It features Jason Calacanis and Gary Vaynerchuk. I’ve been on kind of a Gary V kick lately, not gonna lie. The guy knows his stuff and he’s constantly giving me ideas, which is what I hope will happen for you.

I posted this video so that it starts about 49 minutes in. I want you to watch about 5 minutes of it right now, but I think you should watch it in its entirety later on.

The part of the interview I want to showcase is how Gary talks about how far we’ve come in such a short period of time. He says that we don’t realize how lucky we are that we’re immersed in things like online video and Twitter because that puts us ahead of 99% of the people out there who haven’t gotten on-board, which means there’s some serious cash to be made.

What’d you think? Leave a comment for discussion.

Awesomeness! Next give away for TWiST’s 100 tweeter on Friday, a stack of books from “Delivering Happiness” to Gary Vaynerchuck’s “Crush It!” – AUTOGRAPHED. And a video of Jason signing a copy of “We Live in Public” – The dvd case of course should have a QR code or Microsoft TAG that points you to the Mahalo page with the vid ;o)(recipient entitled to perpetual share of THAT page’s ad revenue) and that dvd better be mounted on the wall just like a platinum record for the entrepreneur signifying his PIVOT! oh yeah, “Crush It” is on my must read list, no doubt.
