Found this amazing “music” video performed by The Richter Scales a few years ago regarding social media and how it’s the next craze. Referring to the Dot Com Bubble, it walks you through the steps you need to take to get rich in the social media era. Amazingly, it’s pretty accurate.
My thoughts after the break..
I really like the steps outlined in this video. For the most part, it seems they nailed it. In order to take advantage of the social media movement like (some of) these entrepreneurs, you need to move to Palo Alto–the home of the Internet startup–and make a business plan. You need a catchy name, a few buzz words, and a revolutionary idea.
Then, just find some skilled people to build your idea into a reality and presto! You’ll have yourself a full-fledged startup that you can one day sell for millions.
I am really interested in startup opportunities and the idea of managing an up-and-coming social brand. Anyone want to build a startup with me? Whatduya say?
What do you think about all this? How does the social media “bubble” compare to the Dot Com wave? Leave your thoughts below!
