social networking

If you liked the video I posted yesterday, then you should love this one. I decided to stay with Gary on this one because he does such a great job in these videos getting you motivated to start creating your brand using social media. The last video was pretty clean/calm for the sake of television, while this one is more of what Gary Vaynerchuk is actually like in person (I’d imagine anyway).

Highlights from the video:

  • Stop doing what you hate
  • Care about your user base
  • HUSTLE
  • Get a business model
  • Believe in what you’re doing or get out
  • Network
  • Be transparent
  • Use ALL of the tools to reach your audience
  • Do what you’re about

I was reading a few social media blogs the other day and came across this awesome video. It provides some statistics on the number of people currently using the Internet, as well as using email and social networking sites.

This should help you understand the importance of developing a presence for your business online as well as marketing your brand and utilizing email marketing/social media to reach your audience. Get excited, because I will be focusing on these topics in the coming weeks!

I recently sat down and wrote out four key traits you must have to develop your brand using social media. It didn’t take me very long to notice that all of these words began with the letter ‘C’, which is nice because maybe it’ll be easier for you to remember them. Here they are, the 4 C’s of developing your brand using social media.
